News July 17, 2004 - The PfR Project has been redesigned, updated, and moved to a new address. The address is now http://mark.fivestarsellout.com/pfr/. The old address, http://pfrproject.tripod.com, will continue to link to the new site. The plus side is that there are now no popup ads, and I can use PHP and other goodies. The only downside is you might have to update bookmarks or links to the site. Ah well. On to the PfR news! Patrick Andrew released his first solo CD, "There and Then It's Gone," this Spring. Check out Pat's website, www.patrickandrew.com, for lyrics, song clips, purchase info, and message board. Here are a few reviews of the album: Christianity Today, Jesusfreakhideout.com, CMCentral.com. CCM Magazine reviewed the album in its August 2004 issue (pg. 61): "(T)hese songs are unique and quirky, and his vocals tend to grow on you after each listen. There's heart in Andrew's art, and that fact certainly makes this CD spinworthy in my book." On the message board, Pat revealed that PfR will be in the studio, starting August 23, 2004, recording two new songs and remakes of eight other PfR songs. Several sites are also running the news: CCM Magazine, CMCentral.com, Jesusfreakhideout.com. The new project was also mentioned in CCM, August 2004 (pg. 10). No news yet on when this new recording will be released. Early this year, Sixpence None the Richer announced that they would be disbanding in a letter to CCM Magazine. Sixpence's lead singer is Leigh Bingham Nash, wife of PfR's Mark Nash. Leigh and Mark's first child, Henry Bingham Nash, was born January 9, 2004. In the letter, Leigh said she planned to "focus on family life for awhile."
